Day 17 - Juneteenth

Today we didn't have "class" because of the holiday, but we did have a little cook out/get together. I was hesitant at first because I don't usually enjoy those types of things, but I had a lot of fun. I woke up early to cook a sugar free strawberry shortcake cake. I always love to make so that put me in a good mood from the very beginning. Once I got there, everyone was playing games a socializing. I got invited to play uno and volleyball. I'm not very athletic, but it was lots of fun to play with the group. We all socialized which made the day really good. I am glad that we had this opportunity to get together and become closer.
